Help fund my medical degree

Peace be upon you all,

My name is Abdulfatah Yousfi ( London ) and I've created this campaign to try and fundraise my first year of medical school in norwich. 

As I speak to you now, I am still not entirely clear on whether it is right or wrong to take out a student loan from an Islamic perspective. Though I am sure that like myself, many young muslims have faced this very dilemma. 

Islam clearly does not take lightly, the practice of dealing with interest. It is for this reason, my heart nor mind can find peace with this prospect. 

The last few years of my life have been the most difficult for a number of reasons but also the most enlightening.
On reflection, I can appreciate the words of Allah when he says,

  " So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief " 94:5.

  And also when he says, 

  " Allah does not burden a soul beyond that which it can bear " 2:286. 

This is an exciting part of my life that will begin on the 17th of september, and I hope that I will be able to keep you guys updated with my progress.  

My family, friends and I will work very hard to cover the remaining amount during this first year which includes accommodation, food and all the other related costs associated with living and studying at university. 

I will be very grateful and indebt to everyone that contributes. I hope that one day I will be able to give back to the ummah and wider society.  

Keep me in your duas and I pray Allah grants everyone success, happiness and good health in this dunya and the akhira.
