A refurbished computer - does it have value? Well, that depends greatly on your perspective and based on your need!
Say that you are a single mother doing her best to raise a family on her own and your computer dies on you or you don’t even have a computer? Your children will still need to do research and homework online. You need to stay in contact by email with family members and others who support you emotionally, with child care and other needs. You may need to do job searches online and send out resumes to find a better job than the one that you currently have or to find a job period! The library has limited hours and the line may be long to use their computers. Even when you can get onto the library computer, you are timed out and logged off after only 15 minutes!! What do you do?
You pray for something as simple as a computer and you would be thrilled to get one that has been professionally refurbished with a genuine Microsoft operating system and Office products like Excel and Word! This is what Smooth Stone Ministries International is all about. Helping those who cannot afford computers, get access to low cost or no cost refurbished computers and notebooks. I endeavor to do this every day and my goal is to help provide one hundred computers to those in need in the end of this year!! That is why I need your support today, so that I may be able to help support and bless those who are in need right here in Georgia and all over the world!! Thank you so much for helping me, help them!!
My goal is to raise $25,000.00 to help provide (100) computers to single Mom’s, low income families, orphanages, churches, missionaries, shelters for abused women and for the groups that support the above. The needs are real and I sadly have to turn away too many requests for help because the funding is just not there. If one hundred families, small businesses, youth groups or organizations who would give a gift of $250.00 or more, we could make this happen!
