We recently found out that our dog, Coco, will need to undergo an expensive medical procedure. Because the area in a dog's head is so complicated, it takes a lot to figure out what is causing her issues. The procedure consists of a CT scan, a scope, and an overnight stay in the hospital, in order to monitor any bleeding after the procedure. We recently noticed that she was experiencing extreme sneezing and having reoccurring dry/bloody noses. There are three potential causes for this, which will be discovered in the medical procedure. The first two situations are that either something is stuck up her nose or polyps, which are non-cancerous, fleshy growths in the outer ear canal. Both of these problems could be fixed on the spot, during this procedure. The third, unfortunate possibility is that it is a tumor, which we would address if that is that case. Needless to say, this is an extremely expensive procedure, in which there is no payment plan option for. The procedure requires $6,000 in total, which needs to be paid up front before she can undergo the procedure. We would not be asking for help if we didn't really need it.
