Journey House is a home for women who are released from prison and have no other safe place to live while they transition back to society. After about 90 days at Journey House, the women are placed into their own apartments.
Until January, those first rents and deposits were paid through grants from the Missouri Department of Corrections...but all housing grants across the state were cancelled with no notice. Now we are trying to make up that loss.
