Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, Sandra Cisneros campus, is devastated by the loss of our dear student, Christian Donis. Christian and his cousin, Adam, were skateboarding Friday night, when they were hit by a car. Christian suffered severe injuries and sadly, did not survive. He passed away on Sunday, June 14th.
Christian was a remarkable son, brother, cousin, student, and friend. Our entire school community is devastated by this loss. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to Christian's family, including his Mother, sister, and cousin Adam.
We hope to support Christian's family with funeral costs during this difficult time. Funeral information will be provided as soon as we can confirm arrengement details. We appreciate your love , support and prayers.
La Escuela Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, Sandra Cisneros, está devastada por la pérdida de nuestro querido estudiante, Christian Donis. Christian y su primo, Adám, estaban cruzando la calle en sus patinetas el viernes por la noche, cuando fueron atropellados por un coche. Cristian sufrió heridas graves y tristemente, no sobrevivió. Falleció el domingo, 14 de junio.
Cristian era un hijo, hermano, primo, estudiante y amigo. Toda nuestra comunidad escolar es devastada por esta pérdida. Estamos enviando nuestros pensamientos y oraciones a la familia de Cristian, incluyendo a su madre, hermana y primo Adám.
