The Democratic Party lost big in 2016. It's time for us to revamp our strategy. On February 23rd, a new chairperson will be elected to the Democratic National Commitee. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, and many others have all endorsed Keith Ellison in this important election.
As a long-time activist and a U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th District, Ellison has championed working people and helped make Minnesota's 2016 voter turnout the highest in the country. He has always promoted a bottom-up approach to politics, with a special focus on counties and towns. He's also the first Muslim Representative in Congress. He's exactly who we need to rebuild the Democratic Party!
The DNC Chair is elected by DNC members only, but we can help Ellison by raising funds for him and his campaign to travel the country, meet with these members, and spread his grassroots message.
