Help Save Buddy

This is “Buddy”.  We are fostering him and today we found out that he has heartworm, possibly advanced.  This didn’t actually come as a surprise, given that he has been used for hunting and had been lost outside for some time.  Buddy was found by a local couple and his owner never stepped forward.  Everyone,  I have never met a sweeter dog in my entire life.  He is the absolute gentlest of souls.  Unfortunately the cost for the most effective treatment is very high.   Doing this is really out of my comfort zone,  but I have to do it for this sweet boy.  Thank you for considering!
