Surgery for Cashes

In November 2017 I took my boy out for a walk to the park where we always go before bed. I always take him off the leash and let him run around and do his thing before we go inside for the night. When I called his name to come back to me he came back limping. He’s a big boy but he’s very energetic, and for 9 years old still very playful and youthful.
The moment he came back limping I knew I’d have to take him in to see a vet. First diagnosis I was told his joint capsule is torn. I left that visit feeling like I had answers.. Over the next few months his ankle grew bigger & I had to help him up and down the stairs, give him cbd oils to calm the pain he was feeling. I took him to many different vets and specialists over the last 8 months. It then got to the point where he needed a custom fit ankle brace to help him get his “injury” healed. I always questioned each of the vets of possible cancer that develops in big dogs.. I know misdiagnoses happen especially with Bullmastiffs and Rottweilers but they reassured me and said 98% built up fluid from his joint being torn.. 2% cancer.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars on vet visits, anti-inflammatory meds, cbd oils, and then his brace. His ankle kept getting bigger..
On July 21, 2018 I took him to a specialist at the Missisauga emergency vet hospital and without even doing any tests (just by looking at his ankle!!!!) the vet told me what I feared from day one.. tumours in his bone.. possibly could be cancerous. 8 months of vet visits and seeing my dog limp, I’ve been doing everything I can to make sure he still loves life. (And he does!) All this money spent only to be told it’s a cancerous tumour.. possibly Osteosarcoma. They recommended amputating his leg before anything spreads. It’s a $6000 surgery and his life to me is priceless. He is my best friend and I’d do anything for him. I am asking for any donation to please help my boy get this surgery. He was misdiagnosed this entire time... my fear from day one. Osteosarcoma is the worst disease a dog can die from.. having to put them down while they are still mentally normal and aware of what’s going on. He isn’t mentally suffering, but physically hurting. I can’t put down my best friend when I know there is a cure here for him.
