Solar Lighting for Puerto Rico

Purpose: To provide solar lighting to those still without power in Puerto Rico.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. For every $40 donated, we will purchase and send one solar powered table lamp to Puerto Rico. 100% of the money raised will be used to purchase and ship the devices. Your donation is tax deductible.
California Sunlight Corp., the manufacturer, has donated and is donating as much product as they can afford. The reception of the product suggests that it has been life changing to those who receive one - for reading, household chores and safety at night. Tens of thousands more are needed. Each device retails for over $70.00 and California Sunlight will provide them for $40.00, including sales tax and shipping to the island.
We have secured distribution through the Episcopal Bishop and churches for the rural areas and the Boys and Girls Clubs in Puerto Rico. They will distribute the product to those in need without taking any money. We are confident this is both effective and secure.
