This page was started to raise money for our son Adam Thacker and our son-n-law Austin Thacker. Adam and Austin awoke in the early morning hours on 10/1/2018 to find that their home was on fire and quickly burning around them. Praise God that they were able to make it out of their home alive, but in order to do so they had to bust out their window and climb out of the home. Adam went back into the home when their dogs didn’t follow them out in an attempt to to save both of their fur babies, luckily one dog survived but sweet Roxy was unable to make it out. Apart from losing their fur baby, Adam and Austin lost everything, their phones, their wallets, their clothes, computers, everything. Austin is in medical school and he has lost his exam table, iPad, white coat; Adam is a pre-med student who has lost all his books, his computer, backpack, literally everything. They both struggle daily to make it through school with all the expense, and now they are starting from square one to replace all the material required for their education, plus needing to find a home and replace all of their clothes and essentially all of their everyday living supplies. Please, if you feel compelled to donate do so. These boys are wonderful humans, any little thing will be a big help to them both. They are both suffering smoke inhalation and Adam has several stitches from busting out the window to climb out. Thank you and we love you all.
