Adv. Spanish Cultural School Trip

Hi my name is Morgan Tatem. I have been taking advanced Spanish for the past two years. Because I have worked so hard and done so well, I am one of 14 students who was personally invited to go on an educational, 10-day, trip to Costa Rica in July of 2016. While on this trip we will learn all about the local people and their heritage. We will also spend a lot of time working on our Spanish speaking skills. We also get to do some fun things like zip lining and horseback riding.
The trip costs approximately $3,500 dollars. After discussing the cost with my Dad and Ann, they agreed to help pay for a portion of the trip as long as I worked hard, saved my money, and found additional ways to help pay for my trip. So far, I spent most of my summer and beginning of my school year babysitting and have raised a little over $650. I will also be working for the rest of this year so save as much as possible. I have also been doing what ever I can around the house, like chores and just doing what needs to be done. I have also asked that all of my birthday, Christmas, Easter, etc. gifts go towards funding my trip.
As you can see, it was quite an honor and accomplishment to get invited to attend the trip and I am very excited. However, I also need your help. I am asking if you can help finance my trip, as my Dad cannot afford the cost and I cannot possibly make that much money in the next 9 months. I am hoping that I can help you with chores, babysit, or do whatever is needed in return for any help that you can give to me towards paying for this trip.
