We are Wyatt Academy scholars and we reach! Our scholar reach to do and be their best selves and we teachers reach to give them every opportunity.
As the art teacher I get to help my students explore their creativey and express themselves. I have never been at a school with a more concentrated number of creative and artisitically talented students.
I am teaming up with Think 360 to organize a five session artist in residency for my 7th and 8th graders. Artist Nicole Banowetz will work with my students to create a special project during her time with them. It is an amazing opportunity for them to get to work with a working artist.
Everything is in place for the program to move forward, all we need now is the funds. My students and I would be thankful to anyone who helped us make this amazing opportunity a reality!
