Tim was admitted into the hospital on April 27th and is fighting the toughest match of his life…Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Tim remains in the hospital while his body recovers from surgery and treatments. They are not sure when he will be home or how long Tim will have to remain out of work. What we do know is.....Tim is ready to fight his “opponent” with determination and grit!
At times like this, we often wonder what we can do to help. Please consider donating to their GoFundMe account to help them financially in this difficult time.
Thank you in advance for any contribution you can make.
Bonnie and Tim thank each of you from the bottom of their hearts. They were astounded when they heard of the generosity of so many people. The outpouring of donations toward this account by family, friends, and strangers has helped to alleviate financial burdens.
The Cocchiola’s also want to thank each of you for the support you have shown them during this difficult time. Words cannot express the gratitude they have for each of you.
Tim has begun chemo, gained weight and is enjoying spending time with Timmy and Peyton. He will receive chemo treatments every other week for the next 6 months. Tim has a positive attitude and is ready to kick this cancer’s butt!
As people are still donating to the GoFundMe account, I am going to keep it open until the end of August. I will close the account and give an update at that time.
Please continue to keep Bonnie and Tim in your thoughts and prayers.
Great news....Tim is HOME!!! The doctors at Yale decided it would be good for him to be home while he recovers from the infection in his leg. Tim, Bonnie and the boys are thrilled he is back home!
Also, thank you for your donations... we have exceeded our goal! Could not have done it without all of you.
First, Bonnie and Tim thank you from the bottom of their hearts for each of you who made a donation to "Rally for Tim". They cannot begin to tell you how touched they have been by the generosity and kindness of their family, friends, and people they do not even know.
Yesterday, Tim was transferred to Yale New Haven Hospital where he will continue recuperating and fighting his fight. In order for Tim to get the proper rest he needs, the family is requesting no visitors at this time. I realize so many of you want to help and the best way right now is to continue to share the GoFundMe Page (even though we met the goal, people can still donate) and to leave comments for Bonnie/Tim.
Again, thank you for supporting the Cocchiola's!
So glad you to hear you are home ! Healing Prayers are with you
