The Clear View School serves mentally and emotionally ill children from over 40 school districts throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange and Bronx Counties. It offers a fully integrated academic and therapeutic program in a non-residential setting with 24/7 on-call crisis care. To greater foster healing,

The Clear View Summer Program is an important part of the Clear View experience, allowing students to continue both their treatment and academic work throughout 6 weeks of the summer season. An integral part of the program involves field trip experiences. "These experiences are especially important to our kids; getting outside of Clear View and interacting with the community, learning how to manage their challenges beyond Clear View walls and using the skills they are learning in treatment in practical ways, builds confidence, helps with group dynamic work, fosters experiental learning and so much more ," says Rita Marsella, Summer Program Director.
But, transportation can often be cost prohibitive making it impossible for our students to experience this critical way of learning.
We would be most grateful if you could help us defray some of those costs, and make this a summer of tremendous growth and healing!
