Jamaica Mission Trip

I teach at Roger Bacon High school in Cincinnati, OH. We have 10 students (grades 9-12) who will be going to Negril for a week to support the mission of the Franciscan Friars at Mary, Gate of Heaven parish and I am a chaperone. This is a mostly school funded mission trip; however, there are costs associated that I need help covering. 

My flight and boarding are paid, but I need to get supplies! We need sunblock, bug spray, food, and clothing. Any amount you can donate will help me purchase items to be used by me, my students, or donated to the parish in Negril! Any additional funds will be donated directly to the parish and used as needed for the soup kitchen or other needs of the people in Negril.

Roger Bacon has sent a group to this parish yearly for several years now and we are able to do a lot of wonderful things! I hope that you are able to help me fund this experience.  This trip means a great deal for me as a Catholic to be able to provide service to those in need. It also means a great deal to the students I am escorting to understand the needs of the world and how they can be of service. Finally, it means a great deal to the people we are able to support-families and children especially!
