Michiana Partners for Parkinson's , d/b/a Rock Steady Boxing of Michiana, is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in Michiana with Parkinson's Disease. Our group has grown from a handful of "boxers" in May, 2016 to more than 40 today.
Our classes, exclusively for people with PD, are held three times weekly, providing an intense workout that has been shown to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Equally as important, we offer comaraderie and support.
While our coaches and trainers are all volunteers, there are operating expenses that need to be met, like rent, utilities and equipment. And as our membership has grown, we will soon outgrow our present location. That makes donations critical to meeting our mission of serving everyone who wants to experience this positive and upbeat workout.
