Help for Christy (Beam) Johnson

Over a month ago Christy started to have severe, debilitating pain in her hip.  The pain was so excruciating it caused her to be unable to walk or drive, which means she was not able to go to either of her two jobs.  With the help of her sister she went to the doctor where they did an MRI and quickly realized Christy needed to be hospitalized immediately.  She had unknowingly developed a serious, life threatening infection and needed to undergo surgery to remove the infection as much as possible.  If she had waited one or two more days Christy would not be with us today.
 The infection was so severe it ate away at her cartilage and now she has bone rubbing on bone.  She may be looking at a hip replacement.  
After spending 10 days in the hospital Christy was finally able to go home with a pic line so she is able to administer antibiotics to herself.
Christy, who is so independent and has already endured so much in her life, wants nothing more than to go back to work so she can continue to put her three kids through school, go back to paying her bills that have not been paid she she was forced to stop working.  Christy is looking forward to going back to work with the children and also her second job at the hotel.  She has asked the doctors many times when can she go back to work, but they do not have an answer for her.  That is why I am asking for your financial support for Christy.  Many of you know her as a fun, energetic, generous friend who has always given her time to others.  She is forced to use a walker or cane to help get around and will be on antibiotics until late December.
Christy does not have sick leave at either of her jobs.  She has zero income when she is not working so she needs whatever amount you can afford to give.  There is absolutely no amount too small.  Please find it in your heart to help out our friend in her time of need.  Bills are already coming in past due, so please don’t delay.

Christy was now told by the doctors that she will need a full hip replacement. The surgery can not be done until the infection and inflammation goes down. Early January they are going to aspirate her hip to make sure infection is completely gone. The surgery can then be done at the end of January. She cannot work directly with the children because of the pic line and the extreme pain she is continuing to endure. She needs to find a position to avoid her losing her job and Insurance. All of your donations are more than she could ever hope for. Now that Christy is looking at another surgery she will have to take more time off.
