February is National Spay & Neuter Month and Operation Pets, Inc. held our first fundraising event at the Rushmore Mall in Rapid City February 11th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
The event, dubbed The Great Escape, asked local icons to each raise $500 while they sat behind bars (a large dog kennel). Don’t worry, they were fed and watered on a regular basis!
Operation Pets will use the funds to spay/neuter over 150 cats & dogs each year in the low income community.
