Medical Needs and Expenses For Landon Willett

Donation protected
On Tuesday, May 14th, we got a very devastating phone call that changed everything. Landon Willett my nephew, whom is 11 years old was in a very bad accident involving his bicycle. It was a phone call that NO parent wanted to get. He was sent to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City where he lives by ambulance and from there we learned that he had a subdural and epidural bleed and needed to be transferred to Helen DeVos in Grand Rapids asap. While getting ready to go he was put on a ventilator that was able to help him relax more, but was still able to breath on his own. He was flown from Traverse City to Grand Rapids by helicopter and upon arrival, they took him straight to another CT scan and we learned that the bleeding on his brain became very significant and was needing emergency brain surgery.  A 4 hour surgery what felt like a lifetime he was finally finished. The surgeons went in and removed a section of his skull that way his brain was able to swell, they removed 90% of the blood and placed probe monitors on his brain to help detect anything abnormal as fast as possible. While operating they did not see any visible damage and his pupils are fully responsive. Landon is not out of the woods yet as he will have to undergo another surgery when its time to replace the bone that they removed. The next 5-7 days are very very critical while in the PICU. I will continue to update as much as possible. With this being said, I am asking for Prayers and support to help with ANY and ALL medical expenses for Landon, all proceeds will be put directly into his mothers account and will be used towards hospital bills, co-pays, and anything else medically that he may have to come home with. There's nothing to little or too small to help EVERY SINGLE PENNY AND PRAYERS HELP! Help us bring Landon home without having to worry about the extra and unexpected medical bills that will come our way he has copays with his current insurance! Due to the subdural and epidural bleed we have no idea what kind of rehabilitation he is going to need after all this is done. Good news is that hes very very responsive!

Thank you everyone for your continued support and prayers they mean the world to our whole entire family. Landon will be home again stronger then ever, he is resilient!!
