I have an inoperable GBM grade IV (based on explosive growth and rapid onset symptoms, MRI presentation) and a poor prognosis.  For my kids sake, I am not dating that.  Time is not on our side is all that needs said. The young ladies pictured here are 3 of my four children living in my home now, and I am a widower.  My son has moved home to be here for me as the declines come and go.  Nicole, my oldest girl, beat Leukemia as a child.  My wife Angela Gore-Mahon, the cornerstone of our family passed in 2013 after a brief battle with lung cancer.  Between her bills and now my own, I fear we will lose our equity built in to a land contract that expires with me, unless exercised prior.  I need to mortgage their home but I am running out of time cleaning up a host of mecical bills that are now preventing this simple thing.  Once paid down, these bills are adding up once again as I enter my own cancer battle beginning on the 19th of January 2017.  I have fought overseas as a soldier, but I never fought an enemy such as this one.  My main fear is to leave my children homeless as I am forced to move them during chomotherapy.  Location prevents radiation.  Some will understand what that means.  I have whittled 15K off these bills assuming time was on my side.  Alas, time is running by faster than my plan allowed.   The loss of equity by failing to exercise this option will prevent us from remaining in our home.  This is particularly poor timing all around, and for my children's sake, I must ask for help with a tear in my eye.  May God bless and may your day be filled with all the joy I am surrounded with now.  Family.  Love.  Joy.  My final act must be to secure their future that may only be this roof above our heads now.  I wish I could do this on my own.  Time said no, and I will need a little help.  My apologies for my writing, my eyes are blurred by tears (foolish pride, a problem at times), and my left eye is grayed by symptoms.  I no longer drive for these vision problems, but my Nicole is handling my mecical travels like a trooper that she is.  Thank you on behalf of my children, Blake (not pictured, and my two grandkids are here as well as this goes onward), Nicole (17), Raegan (15),and Aubrey (13).
