After a lot of soul searching my Husband and I have decided we are ready to share our story and try and give our future some hope again.
In 2012 we married and straight away began to try for a baby. In November 2013 I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told i dont ovulate naturally. Running tests on Alan they discovered that he has a very low count which they could find no reason for.
After an appointment with the consultant we were told IVF was our only option and that we would only have 1 round completely funded but should we have frozen Embryos then we would be able to have embryo transfers on the NHS. After a few months wait we nervously began our IVF (ICSI) treatment, during Embryo transfer we were told we had no frozen Embryos, obviously this was very hard to hear and their timing wasnt great.
After the IVF I was diagnosed with severe OHSS and spent almost 2 weeks in Hospital, during this time we were delighted to find i was pregnant. Sadly however when I reached 18 weeks my waters broke and we found that we had lost our Baby, a beautiful Little Boy. Although we are putting away all we can to save for another round we can't afford to fund a whole round of IVF (ICSI) by ourselves as the cost is around £10,000. We want, more than anything, to be loving parents and truly apreciate any support that could possibly help us to achieve our dream.
