Hey, everyone! Let me give a bit of backstory for all of this.
A while back, my brother took a course in Tokyo, Japan for about three weeks and he absolutely loved it (pictured above). He instantly fell in love with the country and what it had to offer. So from the moment he got back, he said he was going to go back, and he did. Through working a ton of hours in two part time jobs and a bit of extra cash from some scholarships, he was able to raise enough money so that he could get his master's in Tokyo! Absolutely incredible, if you ask me. But now all of that money has nearly been used up. The only thing that can save him is this one scholarship that he was recently nominated for. This scholarship is a make-or-break kind of situation, but knowing my brother, I know he's going nail the interview and he will get it (Yes, there is an interview involved in this scholarship). This scholarship will be able to have him stay there, just so he can finish up his master's. But there's just one problem to all of this.
He has to pay $800 a month for the room he is currently staying at, and as of this very moment, he only has $400 and he only has until the 31st to pay for his room. I also learned that he needs to take a small plane to get to where he needs to go for the scholarship interview. So, what I'm asking for here is that you guys donate for his cause. Keep in mind that creating this campaign was an absolute last resort. I didn't think I'd have to create a GoFundMe campaign, but in the situation that my family and I are, this help would mean so damn much. I want my brother to succeed because he busted his ass to go back to the country he fell in love with, and I don't want anything to strip that away from him. He needs this. I seriously want him to achieve all of this. If you can donate at least a dollar, that would help. Even if you can't donate, spread the word of this campaign. Just know that I will forever be grateful that you lent a helping hand. Just please help - help to catapult my brother out into the world! Again, I would be forever grateful.
