Please consider making a year-end tax-deductible donation for great music in Waltham

Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters, who have been so generous in the past and have sustained us into our 10th season! We hope you were able to join us for our Dec 16 Holiday Concert, featuring Molly Jo Rivelli soprano as well as young Waltham soloists Alexandra and Alfreda Anthony Raj, Lily Massa, Cailtin Slattery and Our Lady’s Academy Youth Choir and its director, Thomas Fallon, followed by our joyous sing-along and post-concert reception. We had a blast putting on the show and we know everyone had as much fun as we did.

It has been our pleasure to bring great music to this community and to serve it in many ways. Audiences continue to enjoy some of the finest music available outside of Boston’s professional orchestras, including our recent September Season Opener featuring WSO principal oboe Amy Dinsmore in Marcello’s Concerto for Oboe, and Mozart’s Cos fan Tutte Overture and Haydn Symphony NO 101 (The Clock).

 Our outreach and youth apprenticeship programs are one of many ways the Waltham Symphony Orchestra serves the community. We will revamp our program for this upcoming year to make it even more accessible to young players from Waltham.

But beautifully played live music, even outside Boston, comes at a price. As you can imagine the Orchestra has many expenses, including costs for venues, music rental and royalties, printing, soloist fees, reception costs and instrument rental.

Thus, as the year draws to an end, we reach out to you again to ask if you would consider making a tax-deductible contribution to assist in the continued development of a cherished local asset we all so much enjoy.  We would be deeply grateful for any contribution of any size.
