Lombok earthquake

As some of you know I am a nurse and came to Lombok 2 days ago to help out after the earthquake. I am helping alongside another Australian nurse. Many people donated medical equipment which is being used at a rapid rate. On arriving in the north today it's clear the damage is far more extensive than I could imagine. Today we dropped food, water, nappies, pads, milk powder and torches to a remote village in the north. We also saw people with wounds, diarrhea, fever. We also tried our best to make the kids laugh. The parents said it was like they had a "liburan" or holiday from the trauma. Some of you mentioned that you would like to help by donating money so I set up this page to continue to help. Tomorrow we join a German Doctor to buy supplies and head north again. And the day after that.... a few dollars goes a long way.  Thanks for reading, Kate
