Worlds Strongest Disabled Man Championship Canada

Donation protected
Hi there everybody, I had the biggest shock of my life on 8th May 2019 whilst at work in the leisure centre where you all know and love me from, I was informed that I had unexpectedly qualified for the Worlds Strongest Disabled Man (WSDM).

This is being held in Smiths Falls, Ontario on 7th/8th of June 2019, as you can appreciate this has come as a massive shock to me and I have only just been able to finally process that this has happened.

Those of you that know me know how hard I train and strive to be the best that I can be in a very competitive field, I have had some great results over the years finishing 2nd in the WSDM in 2016, this got me an invitational to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic in Columbus Ohio in 2017 and topping off finishing 4th in 2018 WSDM in Norway.

Sadly I succumbed to a devastating shoulder injury at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic in 2017 which required surgery and time out of training and competing, so as you can imagine I am raring to go for this years WSDM and put in a strong performance and ideally eyeing up a podium position.

As you can appreciate these events become expensive to compete in and attend which I have mostly funded out of my own pocket albeit two previous go fund me charitable donation pledges, due to the shock and time constraints I am in essence asking all of you lovely people for anything you can donate towards helping a man from Baston achieve his dream and represent the UK in Canada.

In respect of this event I will be having to cover the cost of transport (to and from the airport both in the UK and Canada and flights) accommodation and living costs whilst representing the country.

It really can be said that any amount can help and it will, I will be providing regular updates on my training and how this is going, I would be looking to achieve the target by the 23rd of May, I know this does not leave much time but I know all of you beautiful and lovely people can help make this happen.

If there are any local companies willing to sponsor me, I would be more than happy to represent and reflect this generosity.

Please do feel free to share this far and wide and help a very humble man achieve his dream.

I can be found at Bourne One Life Leisure Centre where I work as a personal trainer/fitness instructor if any of you want to pop in and speak with me around this.

Many thanks to you all in advance
