THE MAN WHO SAVED EVERYTHING by Benjamin Scuglia — developed in the same workshops as A BRONX TALE by Chazz Palminteri, now a hit Broadway musical — is a timely and compelling exploration of hoarding, family and memory, our possessions and the connections that bind us together. It has the potential to be a powerful theatrical experience, but It needs YOUR financial support to reach opening night.
All donations go directly to the costs involved in mounting a new play: everything from hiring a scenic designer to printing the program to insurance payments to the theatre. We are devoted to fully realizing TMWSE on a modest budget. We are relying on volunteers, reduced fees and other cost-saving measures. But there are still expenses involved and that's where YOU come in. YOU can be a part of bringing this compelling new play to the Los Angeles stage (and beyond!).
ABOUT THEATRE WEST
Internationally acclaimed, Theatre West is Los Angeles’ oldest continually operating theatre company and celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2017. Theatre West productions have toured both sides of the Atlantic, including the Edinburgh and Dublin Festivals, not to mention New York City, Atlanta, South Carolina, Seattle, San Francisco, and throughout California. Plays such SPOON RIVER ANTHOLOGY and AESOP IN CENTRAL PARK traveled from Theatre West to Broadway and now, Chazz Palminteri's A BRONX TALE, first developed and performed at Theatre West, and made into a film with Robert De Niro, is now a hit Broadway musical .
In addition to Chazz, some of Hollywood’s brightest lights including Betty Garrett, Lee Meriwether, Richard Dreyfuss, Carroll O’Connor, Harold Gould, Beau Bridges, Martin Landau, Bridget Hanley, Philip Abbott, Pat Harrington and legendary author Ray Bradbury, have made Theatre West their artistic home.
