SEND COACH SEKOU TO WORLD FENCING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our Amazing Epee Coach Sekou Tounkara has qualified to compete in the WORLD FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

LET'S HELP HIM GET THERE!

NJFA is raising funds to enable Coach Sekou to travel and compete at the World Fencing Championships May 17- 19th in order to have an opportunity to become part of the OLYMPIC FENCING TEAM for his country.   Your donation will make a direct impact on his participation (airfare, fees and lodging).

Coach Sekou has a Masters of Fencing degree from the International FIE Fencing Masters School, as well as a Sports Management degree from the International Olympic Committee He is an F.I.E. Certified Epee Coach, served as the Sénégal National team coach for Junior Cadets (2013 – 2015).  Sekou learned to fence in Senegal and has international fencing experience.  He has been coaching at NJFA since 2016 and has trained many students in the high school and competitive programs.  Coach Sekou is beloved among his students and their parents.  Through his dedication and skill he has earned the opportunity to attend the World Championships.

WE ONLY HAVE TWO WEEKS TO RAISE THE FUNDS.  

LET'S ALL TAKE ACTION NOW TO HELP COACH SEKOU COMPETE IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. 

New Jersey Fencing Alliance provides fencing training and instruction to students from  all socio-economic backgrounds.  We provide scholarships and financial aid to any student  with demonstrated need who cannot afford to participate.  

NJFA has produced many world champions most notably Ibtihaj Muhammad, USA Bronze Medalist, Entrepreneur and Mentor for many girls from all walks of life.
