Paige’s World Class Academy Tuition

My name is Paige Minor and I am a young kayaker from Illinois (the state of no Whitewater). I started paddling when I was 10 years old and have been growing to better myself and become a better kayaker since. I started with a club named CWA (Chicago whitewater Association ) which has allowed me to meet amazing people and form a family of kayakers. This sport has had a huge impact on who I have become as a person making me more adventurous, brave, social, and determined to improve myself no matter how scared or nervous I may be because in the end the results will make me super proud in kayaking but also in other aspects of life. Connecting with people from all aspects of life and helping as many people out as I can is my number one passion but kayaking is a very very close second. In order to further my kayak education I will be attending World Class Academy, a high school which travels to several locations across the world allowing the students to meet new people, emerge themselves in different cultures, while receiving a top quality education in school and in kayaking. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my senior year of high school. The school however is quite costly and in order to attend for the full year I need a lot of support from my friends, family, and others who are interested in getting this Illinois kayaker out into the world. I will be forever grateful to anyone willing and able to help me get there so thank you for sharing my story and any and all the support and help you have given me!
