Can we find 120 "true fans" of World Audio Drama Day?

We are asking for help with two things:

1) Publicity costs. In addition to reaching out to targeted contacts, our primary cost each year has been a media buy for audio drama that goes over the international wire system, for easy pickup by broadcasters, magazines and other outlets.

2) Continuing financial support of our website, which is available year-round with information about audio drama from the early days through the podcast era.

In 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 we covered *25* different audio drama troupes and related productions in six media releases that went over PR Newswire.  Media releases over PR Newswire are not free, they are paid.  They generated a listing on Google's News feed on six separate occasions, and an average of 200 direct reprints of the stories in places like Yahoo! each year, and other mentions (ex: http://www.whav.net/cms/oct-30-is-audio-drama-day-hear-the-couple-next-door/), and interviews with outlets such as Radio World.

It is fair to say that thousands of people have become aware of World Audio Drama Day, and different producers, podcasts and performing groups, because of these efforts.

The website not only hosts articles and content in six languages (En 2018 tuvimos nuestra primera historia escrita en español, gracias a la ayuda de mi amigo David del Pino), but - importantly for additional  publicity - also factsheets about audio drama, and images that can be easily utilized by the media to fashion new stories and information. Gradually, information is also being added about modern podcasts and silver age theatre.

I'm Sibby Wieland, and I started the holiday as National Audio Drama Day in 2013. Since then I have managed the website, Twitter and other social media presences over the last five years, through Sound Stages Radio (2013-2017) and newer project Kettle Falls Media. My better half, David, is the first of many people who have contributed volunteer labor. I start working on the project 4 to 5 months in advance of October 30th.

I am forever grateful to podcasters Scott Sigler and Veronica Belmont, who graciously announced the first "Audio Drama Day" for us on October 30th, at the 2013 Parsec Awards, held at DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia over Labor Day weekend. I tip my hat to them for the help they gave all audio dramatists by doing that.
But isn't it enough that I use the hashtags for World Audio Drama Day?
I am so happy that in the last five years so many people have decided to promote their friends and colleagues' work.  The purpose of World Audio Drama Day is to get attention for this artform beyond existing creative circles.

And to also unite under a single term that would help deal with the jargon - "full cast audio", "radio drama", "podiobook", "spoken word", "fiction podcast", "podcast serial" - that makes promoting the artform more challenging than say, promoting a "film" or "movie".

The way to get beyond our existing silos is to employ publicity and PR techniques, and they take time, and money assists in reaching more people.

Our plans were for 2019, that with $1200 - I would do the following:

1) Release three media releases this year about the audio drama artform over PR Newswire, in the days leading up to October 30th and Halloween.

2)  Have enough money left over to subsidize the hosting costs of the World Audio Drama Day website.

If we had raised more than $1200 - we had hoped to repeat what we did in 2015, which was print up thousands of bookmarks, postcards and posters using Matt Leong's great art. These were distributed through street teams, comic book stores, independent book stores.

I was also hoping to hire a part-time student intern.
