The Woodlands Academy School

Please dig deep and help me reach my target! I am raising money to support my son’s school - The Woodlands Academy in Scarborough. The Woodlands Academy is a special needs school for pupils aged 2-16 with a wide range of needs. This includes moderate or severe learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, autism and some medical difficulties Over the years, Woodlands Academy have supported my son Travis tremendously and I would really like to show my appreciation by supporting the school with their fundraising. With this is mind on Thursday 21st May 2020 I will be taking on the Coast to Coast Hadrian’s Wall 4 Day Challenge – a brutal test of endurance walking 100 miles!!! The Woodlands Academy is a company with charity status and also a state funded school – meaning their wage bill is covered so every penny donated goes directly on developing the school learning environment and on essential experiences and resources for the students.
