Support International Women's Day!
This is a fundraiser for Women's Strike Assembly Cymru who is organising an event in Cardiff for 8 March for International Women's Day.
The event will involve a march, various performances, workshops and talks to celebrate and empower women worldwide.
We need some cash please! This will go towards venue costs and volunteer expenses. If anything is left over we will conserve it for other events. We are entirely not-for-profit. If you can just manage a couple of quid, that would be brilliant to help us fund the event and support women's solidarity.
About Women's Strike: The Women's Strike is a strike for solidarity between women - women of colour, indigenous, working class, disabled, migrant, Islamic, lesbian, queer and trans women. On 8 March, in cities and towns across the UK we will meet each other on the streets and strike against a system of power that keep us isolated and divided from one another.
