Women's March on Omaha
Mission Statement:
On January 21st, 2017, it is estimated that more than 200,000 women and their families will gather in Washington DC for the Women’s March on Washington . The march is formed as a march of solidary, an expression of support for and commitment to those who felt marginalized in the recent election. The vision statement from the national march reads: “We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families - recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”
In support of this national march, Sister Marches are being planned across the country and the world. Our march is intended as a call to action and is structured to support and strengthen coalitions protecting that which we hold dear.
This is an inclusive, non-partisan, and peaceful march. Everyone is welcome to attend.
