Would you give Women Veterans a boost today and help their March for Equality? They need funding for peace officers, port-o-potties, sound system, and other event components.
Women veterans are making history with the first ever Women Veterans March. Women veterans from all branches of service are uniting in downtown Houston to celebrate progress and speak out against abuse and challenges they face.
Despite progress made, women still face institutional barriers in a system originally designed for men, including in the Veterans Administration and with health care. Women service members and veterans experience post-traumatic stress, they become homeless often with children, and they experience high rates of sexual harassment and abuse. Women often are seen as "dependents" not as equals.
Your donation will make a big difference in their ability to have their voices heard. Women veterans can become terrific leaders in our civilian organizations and in elected office! We need to invest in their future, just as they have invested their lives in our future.
