Radka's Medical Fund Lyme Disease

Radka is a 34 year old single mother of 2 struggling with the debilitating effects of severe late stage neurological Lyme disease.
Her story is one of sheer terror, having lived for several years undiagnosed with countless medical issues. Doctor after doctor turned her away and did not know she had Lyme disease. Some of the effects of neurological have caused her to suffer psychologically due to the lyme bacteria being in her brain.
MRI has since diagnosed lesions on her brain from lyme.
Because her illness was so many times misdiagnosed, Radka spent a large part of her sickness being sent to numerous psychiatric facilities because doctors were unaware that she had contracted lyme. Instead of being treated medically and with compassion, she was instead treated as though she had a mental disorder leaving her displaced, frightened and isolated from people.
She is so sick now that she is unable to take care of her 2 children, can not work and has very limited financial resources or family support. She is suffering from very bad depression because she desperately wants to get better. She is also suffering physical from the effects of this disease.
Through the grace of god, after 4 years, she was finally recently diagnosed with neurologically lyme with lesions in her brain. This diagnosis though comes after years of suffering and being unheard and not helped. It does however show where all her symptoms come from. It is a shame she could not have gotten this diagnosis earlier.
Doctors now know the source of her medical issues were not in fact psychological but a result of a chronic persistent infection that requires treatment from a lyme literate physician to get her better. Although they know that this is from a tick borne disease, so much damage has been done to Radka that she is struggling to get the life that she had before lyme back.
This treatment is very expensive and she can not afford it. It is crucial that Radka gets to a lyme literate doctor in order for her to get her life back and in order for her 2 children to be able to be able to grow up with their mother.
Without getting proper medication, Radka's condition is said to only deteriorate over time. She is currently home bound with no help her family and is not around her children.
Radka has endured a horrifying battle and it has not been easy. I had the pleasure of getting to know Radka through the lyme community and see that she is not deserving of such extreme suffering. She is a kind person and one that in spite of suffering so much has a strength about her that is very inspiring. To know the hardships she encountered and her ability to still be resilient to fight hard shows her personality.
There is certainly hope for Radka to be able to live the life she deserves if she is able to get the right treatment. Please help support this young woman in her recovery by helping her get the treatment she needs to get stronger and better. She deserves it.
