Help save Witchety Grub!

Witchety Grub is my 4 year old thoroughbred nicknamed the Grub. My name is Brooke. The Grub is my best mate and I can't imagine life without him. I promised to never let him down and I intend to do everything I can to get him the help he needs. This is what brings me here today.
The Grub is having trouble breathing. Our vet found after scoping that his trachea (wind pipe) is full of food. This is called Aspiration Pneumonia. He is on antibiotics every day to prevent infection but without an operation life is not looking promising for Witchety Grub as his condition is only going to worsen, which breaks my heart. I want to give this young gorgeous boy every chance at life.
A leading University in Queensland is willing to operate on the Grub if I am able to raise the funds to pay for it and his recovery. This is were you come in as I can't do this on my own I need your help.
Now I'd love to be able to tell you he is the sweetest, kindest horse that ever lived but the truth is he can be a massive pain in the A but in the best kind of way. He is very naughty with anyone who is not me. He likes to bite and kick and rear but he is loved by all who know him especially me!! He is truly wild at heart, he is my unicorn.
