Wish Mitzvah

Wish Mitzvah was created by a team of hospitality professionals to offer their services to help families celebrate a B’nai Mitzvah (this special coming of age event within the Jewish religion).  We select one deserving family in the San Francisco Bay Area each year to donate our event planning services to, this includes, but is not limited to; the venue fees, catering costs, photography and videography services, and decor.

We started this organization to offer joy, strength, and happiness to our wish granters. Wishes can change a child's life by just helping a simple dream come true.


Our selected family for 2017 is from Orinda, CA. Kevin Hoffmann’s father passed away in June of 2016 after battling with cancer for several years, leaving the family heart broken and in financial distress. The family is planning Kevin’s Bar Mitzvah on October 14, 2017 at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette. The Hoffmann family is so appreciative of all of our help in making this event happen for them. Our team of professionals include: The Simcha Sisters, Gatsby Entertainment and Cheryl Bigman Photography.


We are looking for additional funds to help with all the hard costs including; food, catering staff, rental items and overall decor.  We will use these funds to pay for Bar and Bat Mitzvah Celebrations for children facing serious illness or a life-altering circumstance.
