Billy Waite - Cancer Fund

In August 2017, our dad, William "Billy" Waite was diagnosed with liver cancer. Dad had surgery in December 2017 in an attempt to remove the cancer and part of his liver. The surgery wasn't as successful as we'd hoped and the cancer continued to spread.  The cancer is extremely aggressive. Earlier this month, September 2018, doctors told Dad that they do not expect him to live more than another year. He is so very sick.  We are trying to accept that we only have months left with Dad.  Dad asked for this fundraiser to be started for him and my mother. He does not have life insurance or savings to help with the costs. My mother does not currently work. Everything in us wishes we could tell him to not worry about the money, that we will take care of everything now and anything that comes up later on. Unfortunately, we are not exactly in a position to do so.  Dad has always been there for all of us. All of the time. No matter what. He has raised and supported his children and grandchildren for over 30 years. Even now his primary concern is to make sure the people who depend on him aren't struggling with the costs. He and our mom really need us to come together and help alleviate that financial stress so that they can focus on his health at this terrible point in our lives. Any little bit that you can spare will help. All donations received will go to our parents, Billy and Regina Waite, to cover costs of the funeral, cremation, medical bills, etc. They have decided on the goal of $3000. We can't begin to explain how grateful we will be for any amount of help we get. Thank you.
