Surgery Fund

I am scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy on April14th, 2016, in order to decrease the discomfort and dysphoria I experience regarding my body. Although my insurance covers part of the surgery, I am still left with a roughly $4500 co-pay. In addition, I must be out of work for more than two weeks, and I don't have the PTO to cover all of the time off.

I have waited more than 10 years for this surgery, and even with the financial situation I'm in, there may never be a better time to do this.

Any help you are able to offer will help cut down on the financial burden and assist with rent, food, and bills during my recovery time.
