Willa Thorne Memorial Fund

On February 9th, the indie romance community lost an amazing and talented author, book lover, and friend, Willa Thorne. Our lives will forever be changed by her sudden loss and the legacy of her friendship. Willa was genuinely kind and generous. She was always willing to help others, offer her support, and share her admiration for this community. Her heart and soul went into every book and her light, lit so many. Even those who didn’t know her well knew Willa’s grace touched many in our community.

The news of her passing has come as a shock to all. Willa was in the middle of writing her next book and excited for her future career. Her team and those closest to her want to honor her memory and her spirit, and we hope that this community can come together to support her family during this difficult time.

This memorial fund is going directly to Willa's husband to help cover the unexpected expenses faced with during this time. Willa was always there for us, and our hope is we can be there for her family by helping lessen the financial burden.
