Will is such a sweet, generous and talented little boy. Yesterday his iPad was stolen. He used it mainly as a communication device. This is not a luxury. This is a necessity. I will edit to add more details as we go, and a proper picture of this beautiful boy.

My name is Heather, I am part of a tight community in RI for parents of children with different needs. I raise funds for families in need in honor of my son Ian that left 51 weeks ago. His legacy is one of kindness. All funds raised will go directly to Will's father Joseph Barboza (via direct deposit from gofundme) to decide how the money is spent. Money raised is for a new iPad, educational apps and anything extra Will may need to be happy and successful. I am a family friend, just doing what I hope someone would do for me. I am a family friend. I love this family, they deserve our help.
From Mom : Everyone that knows me knows that I prefer to help, not ask for help. I hate asking, but this is not for me, this is for Will. Will’s ipad was mainly for communication, but he used it on a daily basis for so much more. He used it to assist in decision making. He used it to practice handwriting, reading, and math- things he needs to practice daily to keep from not losing any skills. He used it to convert text into symbols so that he could independently read books. He used it to listen to music when he was feeling overwhelmed , or to watch his favorite movie when he needed a sensory break. Will’s ipad was his lifeline to accessing his world. So much more then just a communication device. Please help us get him a new one. Thank you.
