The Wilkinson Family- flood relief
Kelly and Evy Wilkinson's home in Martindale was flooded on Sunday, May the 24th. They never expected the river to rise so rapidly or to actually reach their home. They had to evacuate and are now left to deal with the aftermath. There are many expenses involved with the cleanup and repair so that they can return to living in their beloved home.
Abbey Niemann and I organized this campaign because we have been friends with Evy for many years and hate to see her going through this. She is a very caring friend and we know that she would help anyone else in a similar situation. We have had many people express the desire to help the Wilkinson family at this time. We thought this would be the best way to allow friends and family from near and far to assist them in this time of need. Thank you for considering a donation. It will be going to help a loving and caring family in a desperate time of need. Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated.
We had a work day in Martindale on Saturday and we were able to clear out some fallen trees, pull up flooring, tear down sheet rock, and lots of other stuff! But there is sooooo much more to be done! It's hard to put into words the devastation they are experiencing.
Evy and kelly are so grateful for the support received through our go fund me! Thanks so much for sharing and giving what you can to help them. You are truly making a difference and showing them so much love!
