Wilkela & Anthony emergency fund

While walking home last night Wilkela Maddox and her boyfriend Anthony Robinson were assaulted and robbed in front of her children. A car occupied by 4 suspects deliberately hit Anthony with their car ,jumped out, robbed him and Wilkela while threatening them with a gun. 
       When they called the police for assistance they were treated like suspects and not victims, which unfortunately happens all too often. One officer even discouraged Anthony from going to the hospital by telling him that an ambulance ride costs $500 and would be a waste of his money. The pictures of his injuries are very graphic and span the entierity of his body from head to toe. The police even went as far as showing up at Wilikela's, house searching for evidence, as if they were suspects and not victims. Those cowards stole her rent money, which is due in just a couple of days. 
       They were at the hospital until 3am and although they are safe at this moment we would like to help during their physical and emotional healing process. 

Wilkela is a mother of 4 children, works full time as a hair stylist, and is currently taking classes online at UMA to get her certification in medical billing and coding.
