Wildfire Relief - Love From Canada

Donation protected
Right off the hop I'd like to clarify I WILL NOT be taking any 'administration fees' for myself. Fair question and I'm happy to see people consider this when making a donation. :)

Just an update for those who have or are thinking about donating, I just got off the phone with Trent. It sounds like KS was hit the worst so Trent got me in touch with a gentleman by the name of Scott Tilley from the Community Church in Bucklin, KS. There are many basic every day things they need to purchase that were not covered by insurance (toiletries, clothes, saddles, tack, etc.) Their community and church group are also working to gather funds to start rebuilding fence lines at the Giles Ranch which lost homes, more than 30,000ac in pasture and over $1 million dollars in livestock (their only source of income). To put it in perspective it costs about $10,000 to fence a mile, the church is volunteering the labour and any financial donations to help purchase fencing supplies would be a GREATLY appreciated! Every little bit helps, together we can help make a difference. We will be sending 100% of the donations to the church group in Bucklin and they will make sure every penny gets put to good use!

I'm Belinda, I've been building my cattle herd for the past 3 years and watching the devastation unfold as wildfires ravaged the South I can't even fathom what these ranchers are feeling at this time. The overwhelming support has been phenomenal; I for one would like to do something to help the many that could use it right now. The miles between us adds an additional cost to send supplies by truck so I thought providing financial aid to a set of boots on the ground who can make the decision where it was most needed would stretch our donations the furthest. My first thought when i say 'supplies' was fencing and hay for ranchers. But there are many more things required on top of fencing and feed needs, homes were lost, lives were lost, ranchers and volunteers alike need food and water to keep them going. We've enlisted the help of Trent Cadra (featured this week on The Shark Farmer Podcast http://sharkfarmer.libsyn.com/044-trent-cadra-going-through-the-wildfires?tdest_id=395738) . So lets come together Canada and show our neighbours to the South some love. Every little bit helps.
