WildFire Phillips Lung Cancer Fund

I am creating this fundraiser for my mother WildFire Phillips (Deborah Joaquim) to assist with her medical expenses and travel to seek treatments for her lung cancer discovered just recently. My mother is currently without health insurance (but applying for Medicaid so she can pay for doctors care, treatment, and any necessary prescriptions) but other expenses will include travel and possible stays in areas offering treatment and anything else until her Medicaid is granted.
      As far as we know at this time this type of cancer in her lungs seems to be one which has surfaced from her previous breast cancer battle.  Although initially that battle occurred for her in 1997 it was told to us it is not uncommon for metastatic inflammatory breast cancer to have a resurface many years later where it may enter lungs, bone, and brain most often. It resurfaced 4 years ago with a doctor pushing her for a biopsy (though there was no need as they could have and should have done a PETscan) ~ She is now in what has so far been termed "late stage lung cancer" with all of the signs and symptoms.
     My mother is one of the most strongest of beautiful women I know, and not because she is my mother but because she has endured, broken cycles, and beaten odds, that are hard to put into any words. She, despite all the storms is there for her family, and strongly supportive of our Wampanoag culture, extending herself with every ounce of love.
     One of the things we ask most of all is that you may offer up sacred smoke and prayers, share this Fundraiser for her if nothing else, keep her in your thoughts. Our family needs this as well, myself and my siblings, my younger brother Emerson, older brother Richard, and my big sister Peggie, and all of our family that love her so much, we need your prayers.
