Wiggly Street - Nuit Blanche

This is a fundraiser to pay for equipment rentals, gas,  artist costs, permits, insurance, and to get all the i's dotted and t's crossed.  Your help will help us pay for what we need to put together this self-funded Official Nuit Blanche Independent Art Installation.   

The art installation is by the Wiggly Artists Collective for the Nuit Blanche Toronto 2017 event:

The Wiggly group, a multidisciplinary collective, combines sculpture, visual arts, video, dance & audio as mediums to create environments that unite audiences.  Produced by Takin Nateghi , this project includes four major components curated by four respective artists:

~ Projection mapping celebrating major world milestones and symbolisms that represent Canadian culture and values, such as multiculturalism, equality, and universality - curated by Rouzbeh Heydari

~ Sculptural installations with LED components representing futuristic urban forestry - created by Ryan Longo

~ Choreographed group art performances – curated by ALeKs BaRtosiK - each hour, representing a 24-hour cycle, will begin with a live performance that tells a story of love, harmony, and unity of the potential unknown, which are fundamental Canadian values.

~ Audio Component – Curated by TAKiN of Wiggly Events – hourly audio performances will symbolically ignite the 'Reactor' that powers the installation, fueled by the vibrations caused by audience movement.

LOCATION: Thompson Laneway – located between Hamilton St and Broadview Ave, just North of Queen Street. (back of the Broadview Hotel)
