Why Can’t We Serve

The Movie Turned Movement

22 Veterans take their lives every day in our country. It’s an ongoing tragedy, but we can do something about it.

Marty Klein, is a blind veteran who lost his sight from an eye disease he incurred while serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Klein has produced a 54-minute documentary film  Why Can’t We Serve.

“It’s my attempt to help reduce the number of veteran suicides taking place in our country, while at the same time helping to raise the standard of living for all people with disabilities.” Klein says.

I, and my supportive team,
worked consistently for almost three years to complete this documentary film. Now it is done, and I am proud of what we have accomplished.

But the movement has just begun.

We are now seeking to raise at least $5000 to help us continue our quest to bring this ongoing tragedy to the light, and to let all Americans across the country know that we have a way to help make a difference.

The funds we raise will help us promote the importance of the movie, and assist our efforts at getting the film widely distributed. In addition, I am seeking these funds to add closed caption and descriptive video to the film so all disabled people will be able to experience the movie fully.

I want to thank you, in advance, for any donation you choose to give, no matter how large or how small, and for your willingness to face a difficult and ongoing national problem. If you are moved by our documentary, please share our Go Fund Me campaign with family and friends, and please Like our Why Can’t WE Serve Facebook page.

With Deep Gratitude,
Marty Klein
