Russell"s Last Ride for Mens Cancer

In October i was laid off of my job and started unemployment as any other person would do, while looking for work I was  diagnosed  with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 3.  At this point I advised Unemployment of my situation and  of course they dropped me .  I then had to file for disability in Dec. and was just informed that I must be out for 12 months to get Disability, I am 2 months shy of that mark and cannot recieve disabiity.    At this time I have spent my whole 401k just getting better and now I am going to run out of money to keep my apartment and will be homeless before I wll be able to find work.  I am having a hard time trying to wrap my head around a government that will take your money from your check and not give it to you when you truly need it, but will pay others that can work to stay home.  I want to work and will again, but I am unable to get any assistance from  the government or any other agencies to help me get bye til I am well enough to work.

A quick update, I went back to work for about 2 months and the unfortunately I was again diagnosed with a new form of Lymphoma (Type B)  and the Chemo. is 10 times worse than before, so again I will be unable to work full-time and as I scramble for funds from churches and private agencies the SSI Disabiity has been dragging their feet, so again I am in a sticky situation.

One thing is different now, I am going to strive and fight for all men with Cancer and in the kind of shape I am in, my charity will be called Russell's last ride for Cancer and will center on helping men in the same shape as I and hopefully fulfill my hopes for those men.  I will also hope to take a ride across country to bring awareness to the lack of assistance to men with Cancer and hopefully provide rides for my fellow biker brothers tht believe the ride to be spiritual and reviving for theyre soul.
