Our baby went to see Jesus.
Brandt David Whitmore was born on 10/26/18, weighing 5lbs 10oz and 18 1/2 inches long. He was beautiful!
The doctors told us at a routine ultrasound at 27 weeks that our precious child had non-functioning kidneys. They gave us two options, to terminate or to go along with the pregnancy to “wait and see what happens”.
We were told that it was likely that our baby would take one breath and pass. He did much more than that and when he was delivered, he cried! It was an answer to prayer. We had much more than seconds with our sweet boy. Surrounded by family, we sang “It Is Well” in the intensive care nursery as our strong boy went to see His creator.
We share our hope and faith so abundantly because we have witnessed first hand how the Lord sustains those who trust in Him. Even in the midst of your worst nightmare, you can have peace.
Thank you to each one of you for honoring our sweet Brandt and praying over our family as we have walked this journey. God is so faithful and He will carry us through this next phase of life. Brandt has drawn us closer to Jesus and for that, we are so grateful. We are so excited to walk with our boy one day.
Our zealous miracle was answered - Brandt is fully healed.
