Jay Haroutunian

Drag boat racing legend Jay Haroutunian was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer just over one month ago, with his doctors giving him 18 months to live. Jay fought hard for his life, but unfortunately, God called him home on July 1, 2017, leaving wife Denise, daughter Emily, family, friends, and fans absolutely heartbroken. With so little time to prepare for the future, Jay’s family is now left with medical bills, funeral expenses, and so many questions about what the future holds.
Jay was a kind, generous man who worked hard to put on a great show with his Whiskey River II Top Fuel Hydro. Let’s all show our appreciation and love for who Jay was and what he’s done for the community with a donation to his wife and daughter. No amount is too small! If everyone could contribute as little as $5, this would help bring peace of mind to Denise and Emily as they start to piece their lives back together and find their way forward.
