Emily first met Austin at a baconhaus party in 2012. Her brother Mason pointed him out on the couch, "That's Austin, he's homeless."
Two years later our friendship turned to courtship, and we traveled together visiting friends and attending parkour gatherings all over the country in our big yellow van.
After another two years of adventuring we decided it was time to level up. We married ourselves at the courthouse and sealed the deal with an epic high-five.
Unfortunately, the colorful van that has taken us across the country needs some repairs, and may need to retire soon (she's 40 years old!) We love to travel and would like to come to visit you. Yes, YOU!
In lieu of our friends spending a couple hundred in gas/flights to come see us for a wedding, or making a registry for junk we don't need (we lived in a van, we hate junk) we're deciding to skip all that frivolous nonesense. (Also, we figured this would be our last appropriate chance to ask people for free stuff until we have a baby or something).
How can you help? We need a new family vehicle. A reliable car with reasonable gas-mileage would allow us to continue to travel for parkour (not to mention drive the kids to-and-from school without having to worry about roadside assistance).
So instead of sending a fruit basket, or a cheap bottle of wine, how about a $5 contribution instead? Every little bit helps.
